It's not Krispy Kreme but good tasty donuts right on the corner. Staff was friendly and they had a good selection of kid fun doughnuts.

Excellent donuts! These other yelp reviews that are pining for Krispie Kremes should stick to the more prolific chain donut shops, I guess. I would rather have these over Krispie Kreme any day. We had the apple fritter and sour cream donuts and were beyond delighted. I recommend this for a quick breakfast or snack. The staff was so nice as well!

Nice little donut shop. They've got plenty of options and they make a respectable cake donut, an art which has been greatly lost amongst many donut artisans these days.

These people know their donuts. If you are perplexed by the large selection as I was, go for the ones that are front and center because they tend to showcase their favorites. For instance, you will note the abundance of lame white frosted donuts and unfilled long johns off to the side while the exciting and tasty ones covered in sprinkles are right there before your eyes. Go for the those ones. Every days is better when you start with sprinkles.

Niiiice! If you're a fritter fan, this is where you go. The best part of the fritter of course is the crispy edges and this place figured out how to make it more crispy, make it a flat disc! Delicious! Not your average donut joint, a must try.

Traverse city has needed a donut shop since the Dunkin donuts closed down. That's why daylight donuts seems so great. I would agree that is well over do and the donuts are pretty good there. I take my kids with me there and they love it but there is nothing spectacular about it. My family likes all the different toppings they put on there donuts and all of the different flavors. They have chocolate, glazed, filled, and regular baked donuts. However the donuts are sometimes a little dry and dense. If you have ever been to a Krispy kream donut shop you know how their glazed donuts melt in your mouth. These donuts are not like that but still have good flavor. The prices are great though. A single donut is like 89 cents so that makes it much more appealing. They also have an amazing drink selection that can give my kids or me anything I'm looking for. From pop to white and chocolate milk there beverage selection is great. Although daylight donuts is not a home run it is pretty good compared to the other things TC has to offer

If you like your cream filled long johns with hardly any cream, this is the place for you. They skimp on the fillings on all the donuts...Also, I ordered a mocha, and got it half full...then she put foam for the top half...if you need to cut corners on filling your donuts, maybe this is not the right business for you...
